For your comfort, we apply a local anaesthetic cream to numb your skin, and our fillers either contain local anaesthetic or add it before use. All fillers carry a risk of bruising, which we minimise where possible using a particular regimen and the latest gentle cannulas instead of needles. Aftercare is provided after every treatment. Your treatment will last 6-18 months, depending on the area treated and how your body breaks down the product. Lips generally last around six months, and the breakdown of the filler depends on whether you smoke, exercise or talk a lot! Filler around the jawline or in the cheeks can last 18 months or more as the filler tends to be more viscous with stronger cross-links.

In most cases, you can return to work the same day. We advise avoiding heavy exercise, extreme heat and alcohol for 24 hours. With any cosmetic injectables, there may be some swelling and bruising around the injection points, which should settle within a couple of days.
